Laura T. Everett

Laura Everett, CPA, is the Managing Principal of ARB, where she provides strategic leadership for the firm while continuing to serve clients as a trusted advisor. She is known for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to building a firm culture that supports client excellence and professional growth.

With over 20 years of experience in public and private accounting, Laura provides audit and attest, tax, and business advisory services primarily to automotive dealerships and credit unions. Her background in private accounting with a Maine-based auto dealership group gives her a deep, practical understanding of industry-specific challenges, enabling her to deliver solutions that strengthen internal controls, improve operational efficiency, and support long-term stability.

As Managing Principal, Laura plays a central role in shaping ARB’s strategic direction, talent development, and operational priorities. She also leads ARB’s Recruiting Program, where she has built and expanded initiatives that connect the firm with emerging accounting talent and experienced professionals. Her efforts have significantly enhanced ARB’s campus presence, strengthened relationships with academic institutions, and streamlined the recruiting and onboarding experience. In 2019, Laura designed and launched ARB’s first spring externship program, Experience ARB, which has become a cornerstone of the firm’s talent pipeline.

Laura joined ARB in 2006, was named Principal in 2020, and became Managing Principal in 2025. Throughout her career, she has combined technical expertise, industry insight, and people-focused leadership to help advance both ARB’s clients and the firm itself.

Laura resides in Windham, Maine, with her husband and two boys. She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially visiting Bar Harbor and exploring national parks with her family. Laura loves cheering on her children at their sporting events, a good book, and giving back to the community.
