Every year, spring brings exciting changes to Albin, Randall & Bennett. Not only does it signify the end of tax season, but also the beginning of the annual Best Places to Work in Maine competition. Best Places to Work in Maine is a survey competition used to determine which participants are the best Maine employers, with small, medium, and large business categories. Using a combination of employee feedback and a comprehensive questionnaire examining work/life balance, benefits, culture, opportunities, and management style, BPTW conducts research into identifying which employers in the area are building and fostering the most productive and inclusive work environments.
For the 8th consecutive year, Albin, Randall & Bennett is excited to announce that we continue to rank as one of the best places to work in Maine! Even in the midst of a global pandemic, ARB has maintained our status as an employer that deeply cares about both the personal and professional matters of employees.
Throughout the many challenges of 2020, we have been grounded by our team mentality. Recognizing the changes inherent to remote work, whether it be issues with internet speed, new ways of communicating with coworkers, or managing work and family life in unprecedented ways, the ARB management team has worked tirelessly to alleviate as many stressors as possible. By delivering personally tailored ARB gifts to each employee’s home, continuing weekly remote “coffee talks” to discuss any issue on people’s minds, slowly and safely bringing back in-office work opportunities for those interested, providing upgraded computer equipment, and giving all ARBers an additional paid vacation day, Albin, Randall & Bennett has shown ARBers that together we can build a new normal.
