Gisèle N. Couturier

Gisèle Couturier, CPA, is a Director with ARB dedicated to ensuring that her clients have a smooth engagement no matter their needs or circumstances. She provides assurance, accounting, and consulting services to companies of all sizes, with a focus on Construction, Manufacturing, Financial Institutions, and Employee Benefit Plans.

Clients rely on Gisèle throughout the year for assistance with accounting guidance on specific transactions and recommendations related to internal controls, software conversions, and operations. By working with Gisèle, clients can get ahead of any issues prior to year-end, setting themselves up for an efficient process during the engagement.

Within ARB, Gisèle is a leader of the firm’s Construction Group. She is also heavily involved in recruiting and internal training initiatives. She is passionate about connecting with potential future ARBers and helping newer coworkers achieve success in their careers.

Gisèle began her accounting career in the private sector in 1999 and transitioned to public accounting in 2007. She spent her first 10 years at a large, regional firm before joining ARB in 2017.

Gisèle lives in Portland, Maine, with her husband. She enjoys travel and outdoor activities, including running, biking, hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, skiing, and snowshoeing. When inside, you will find her lifting heavy or working in clay.
