Albin, Randall & Bennett is excited to announce 11 employee promotions! ARB congratulates Robin Cyr, Benjamin Lord, Samantha Pedersen, Gisèle Couturier, Amy Gardella, Jennifer Lemay, Brittany Seekins, Cheryl Sommer, Rebecca Phelps, Cassidy Pinkham, and Leanne Superdock. Even through an unconventional tax season in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the hard work of these individuals, and others, has helped propel ARB’s success.

Directors
Robin Cyr, CPA, has been promoted from Senior Tax Manager to Director. She has been with ARB for 10 years and specializes in providing comprehensive tax planning and compliance and consulting services to corporate and individual clients. She primarily serves clients in the manufacturing, construction, and nonprofit sectors. As both a CPA and a lawyer, Cyr provides exemplary tax and consulting services related to estate and succession planning.
Benjamin Lord, CPA, CCIFP, has been promoted from Senior Manager to Director. He joined ARB in 2013, after working as the Controller for a group of affiliated commercial real estate, hotel development, and management companies. Since his arrival at ARB, Lord has worked to provide consulting and financial accounting services to construction, real estate development, and manufacturing clients. Ben is an advisory leader in ARB’s Employee Benefit Plan Services Team, and focuses on specialized services for ESOPs. “A healthy number of our clients have become, or considered becoming, employee-owned in recent years,” said Lord. “Continuing as a closely held business is the best solution for many; however, for the right company, employee ownership is a great way to ensure a legacy of success that our clients have worked so hard to build.”
Samantha Pedersen, CPA, has been promoted from Senior Manager to Director. She joined ARB in 2004 as a Staff Accountant. Pedersen specializes in business advisory and attest services primarily for commercial businesses, manufacturers, credit unions, and nonprofit organizations. She is an advisory leader in ARB’s Credit Union Services Team, and leads the firm’s training and quality control efforts.
Senior Manager & Manager
Gisèle Couturier has been promoted to Senior Manager. She joined ARB in 2017 as a Manager. Couturier specializes in providing audit, accounting, and compliance services primarily to nonprofit organizations, commercial entities, credit unions, constructions companies, and employee benefit plans.
Amy Gardella has been promoted to Manager. Gardella began her accounting career at a large, international firm in Ohio and joined ARB in 2018 as a Senior Accountant. She specializes in providing accounting and auditing services to commercial and not-for-profit entities.
Senior and Assistant Senior Accountant Promotions
Jennifer Lemay has been promoted to Senior Accountant. She began her career at ARB in 2018 as a winter intern and returned as a Staff Accountant after receiving a Master of Business Administration degree from Thomas College. This is Lemay’s second promotion in her two years with ARB.
Brittany Seekins has been promoted to Senior Accountant. She joined ARB as a Staff Accountant in 2018 after receiving a Master of Business Administration degree from Husson University. While working through tax season, Seekins also obtained her CPA license.
Cheryl Sommer has been promoted to Senior Accountant. After graduating from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy degree, Sommers worked for a regional firm before finding her way to ARB.
Rebecca Phelps has been promoted to Tax Senior after working at ARB for just eight months. Phelps graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. Phelps is experienced in tax planning and compliance.
Cassidy Pinkham has been promoted to Assistant Senior Accountant. She joined ARB in 2019 and is a recent graduate of Thomas College.
Leanne Superdock has been promoted to Assistant Senior Accountant. She joined ARB in 2019 after graduating from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting
